Speaker - Trainer - Author - Communications Leader - North Country Enthusiast

Veronica Francis is a New Hampshire storyteller, keynote speaker, and technology coach who helps people navigate change with clarity, confidence, and a sense of humor. Known for her warm presence and relatable storytelling, Veronica blends real-life experience with practical insight - reminding audiences that adaptability matters more than perfection, especially when the plan falls apart.
Her life story reads less like a straight line and more like a series of detours - and that's exactly the point.
Veronica grew up in Twin Mountain along iconic Route 3, where her family ran a roadside motel before building Circus Towne, a full circus-themed amusement park next door. Summers were spent under a tent, backstage, and sometimes in the spotlight - learning firsthand that entrepreneurship, like life, rarely comes with perfect conditions.

Those early experiences shaped her worldview, and became the foundation for her signature storytelling programs, Route 3 Ronnie and The Show Must Go On, where humor, resilience, and real-world lessons take center stage.

Today, Veronica brings those same lessons to audiences navigating a rapidly changing world. Whether she's sharing stories from the circus, guiding entrepreneurs through uncertainty, or helping people make sense of new technology and AI, her message is consistent: when things don't go as planned, adaptability, curiosity, and connection matter most.
Her keynote presentations help audiences:

Beyond the stage, Veronica has spent more than 25 years helping organizations communicate clearly, creatively, and authentically through her work at Notchnet. Her career blends strategy, storytelling, and community-centered leadership.
She currently serves as:
Communications Director, NH-VT Christmas Tree Association

Communications Director, Old Man of the Mountain Legacy Fund
Sharing the story and enduring spirit of New Hampshire's beloved Old Man of the Mountain, while helping future generations connect with its cultural and historical legacy.
These roles reflect Veronica's deep connection to New Hampshire culture, community storytelling, and heritage preservation - work rooted in trust, clarity, and shared identity.
Long before AI entered everyday conversation, Veronica was helping northern New Hampshire communities step confidently into the digital age.
In the early days of the internet, when broadband access and basic technology skills were far from guaranteed in rural areas, Veronica recognized both the challenge and the opportunity. She founded TechLinkNH, a program dedicated to expanding digital access and providing hands-on technology training. From computers and email to early internet tools, TechLinkNH helped adults feel capable, connected, and prepared for what came next.
In 1994, co-founded the Women's Rural Entrepreneurial Network (WREN), creating technology and business training programs designed specifically for women building businesses in rural communities. These programs blended practical tech skills, entrepreneurial guidance, and peer support - helping participants grow with confidence during times of change.
This work reflects a belief that continues to guide everything Veronica does today:
technology should empower people, not intimidate them.
As the digital world evolves, Veronica helps businesses and organizations "keep it real in an AI world."
Her friendly, down-to-earth programs empower everyday learners and small business owners to understand, embrace, and confidently use artificial intelligence and digital tools - without the overwhelm.
